"LOST IN BOOKS is a kids' multilingual bookshop, café, safe space for women, creative learning centre, and language exchange hub. We're based in Fairfield, in south-western Sydney — Australia's most culturally diverse community.
LOST IN BOOKS offers a bountiful public program around books, literacy, multilingual conversation, and wellbeing. It's for children, young people and adults from Anglo-Australian and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Staffed by bilingual workers, LOST IN BOOKS promotes multilingual literacy, community safety, connectedness and exchange. It's a social enterprise, which means that any profits will be reinvested back into the project.
LOST IN BOOKS is the brainchild of Jane Stratton and her team at Think+DO Tank Foundation."
